Installation Guide
The rubber material used for these pedal covers is identical to that of the original Tesla factory pedals. It requires some manual strength to fit into place, but once installed, they remain securely attached.
Tip: Many customers suggest leaving the pedals under the sun for about an hour before installation (rubber side facing upwards) to soften the rubber, making it more flexible for installation.
Start by removing the existing rubber cover on the brake pedal (note: the accelerator pedal doesn't have a cover). To do this, reach behind the pedal and peel back the rubber around the edges.
For the new brake cover, begin at the bottom. Slide the cover up from the bottom and then gradually work the rubber over the edges of the pedal until it's completely fitted. You can use your smartphone camera to ensure it looks correctly installed.
Apply the same method to the accelerator pedal. There's a small finger notch on the right side at the back of the pedal to help with the fitting.
